We've lived in Rockville for 20 and this was the first time we visited. They have the best mango lassi in MoCo. The portions were large and the palak paneer was so creamy! We also never had the yummy nut-based sauce that was served with the briyani. Also had the samosa chaat, chicken soup, cauliflower 65. Every was very good. Also a good sign when other diners are of the same ethnicity as the food served.

First time being here after my sister said she heard good things about it and wanted to try. The restaurant is at a small shopping center in Rockville. The inside is decent, not too big, not too small. I loved the decorations they had. We came right when they opened for dinner at 5pm. We ordered some of our favorites including chicken biryani, chicken tikka masala. We also tried the goat curry and masala dosa. Loved everything, especially the dosa! We would definitely come back just for the dosa. Everything had so much flavor and so tasty. I would recommend the dosa. I notice that not all Indian restaurants have it. Staff was nice and gave little kids coloring books and crayons to play with.

Excellent dosas. A traditional south Indian restaurant. Myorse dosa was awesome---my first time having this kind. Apparently it's a weekend that dish only. My friend loved the Masala dosa. Mango lassi was good. Mango kulfi was very very good. Halwa was interesting and super sweet. Both on weekend menu.

We loved our thali experience here for lunch! All the dishes tasted flavorful and delicious. The service was quick and attentive. The Chicken 65 was also great! The price for the chicken was higher relative to the portion.

My Indian coworkers took us to Chettinadu for authentic Indian food! It is located in an unassuming strip mall, but don't let that deter you from visiting. Simple interior but delicious food, we started our multi-course group dinner. Appetizers: 1. Fish 65 - We asked for medium spicy and omg it was delicious. Crispy on the outside and juicy white fish on the inside 2. Chicken Sukka Varuval - Speciality - This one had a kick! The chicken was juicy and tender, and the red onions enhance the flavor 3. Veg Samosas - The biggest samosas I've ever seen. Comes with two sauces to dip. Flaky pastry and pipping hot masala mashed potato inside 4. Chicken Lollipop - This was a group favorite, crispy but juicy chicken ready to be eaten off the convenient "lollipop" stick bone Drinks: 1. Rose Milk - A pink milk that tasted like roses. It was very refreshing to sip in between all the spices. 2. Mango Lassi - Half the group got mango lassi and I didn't see a single one unfinished :) Breads: 1. Garlic Naan - Huge pieces, with huge pieces of chopped garlic slathered on 2. Plain Appam - A crispy thin pancake made from rice and coconut, slightly sweet and cooked in a wok to give it its bowl shape. Delicious to dip into curries Curries: 1. Butter Chicken - So saucy, and the chicken was so juicy on the inside. Dip your breads in this (easier to eat with your hands in this restaurant!) 2. Kothamalli Chicken Curry - The green color comes from the coriander and cilantro leaves. Delicious and my favorite curry of the night We ordered A LOT but service was quick and seamless. Don't be intimidated to come here, for dinner time it opens at 5 and starts to get busy around 7-8.
